We will be holding this year’s hunt tests at Headwaters State Park near Three Forks Montana. The events will be held on May 29-30, 2010. We would love to see all of you at the event.
Headquarters for the event is at the Fort Three Forks Motel at the junction of I-90 and Highway 287 near Three Forks. You can reach the motel at (406) 285-3233. Fort Three Forks also has RV hookups available.
We will be using Chuckars and or pheasants for the Senior and Master. Pigeons will be used for the juniors.
If you have the time there are many attractions in our area. Thirty miles to the east is Bozeman It has a very historic downtown with lots of shopping, museums and excellent dining opportunities. Fishing on the nearby Missouri and Madison Rivers is excellent. Just to east is Headwaters State Park where Lewis and Clark spent a great deal of time.
Nearby, is Wheat Montana Bakery for snacks and breakfast. In Three forks there are two home-style cafes that serve breakfast if you like the meat and potatoes etc. I have eaten at both of them and the food is good. Willow Creek, just to the south, has a good restaurant, Willow Creek Inn. The Land of Magic in Logan serves excellent steaks.
We all thank you for coming to see us. We hope your dogs all run hard and do well. If there is anything I can do to make your stay more enjoyable let me know.
